O trompetista paulistano Daniel D’Alcantara virá ao palco do Jazzb com seu quinteto prestar uma homenagem ao trompetista norte-americano Lee Morgan (1938-1972). O quinteto conta com a presença de Carlos Alberto Alcântara (saxofone), João Bueno (piano), Thiago Alves (contrabaixo) e Paulinho Vicente (bateria).

Lee Morgan, com seu estilo único - bastante lírico é ligado ao blues -, surgiu no cenário musical dos EUA como membro da banda de Dizzy Gillespie e em seguida ganhou projeção no Jazz Messengers, grupo liderado pelo baterista Art Blakey. Morgan foi vítima de um crime passional, morto aos 33 anos em um clube de jazz de Nova York por um tiro dado por sua mulher com um tiro no coração por sua mulher em um clube de jazz de Nova York.

Com Daniel D’Alcantara (trompete), Carlos Alberto Alcântara (saxofone), João Bueno (piano), Thiago Alves (contrabaixo) e Paulinho Vicente (bateria).
